I think I know what eternity is:
I have seen its transparent fleece
pour diamonds of duration
into a basket already full
into a basket already full
with fresh-picked beans
and the many spaces between them
and the many spaces between them
through which the light falls
without changing the emptiness
without changing the emptiness
that receives it or altering the weight
the woman lowers from her head,
the woman lowers from her head,
