Wow, I love this beautiful poem that magically encompasses all in one slice of simple truth. Yes, who the heck are we to judge that we are somehow lacking. The loons, the old people in a pleasant community, the brilliance of being glad to be. Wonderful poem, Mr. Budbill.

Always a pleasure to read David Budbill's beautiful words. I was in a couple of productions of David's haunting two-act play Judevine, and I get a tingle up my spine whenever I hear his name evoked.
