A beautiful poem, Ruth. When I was nineteen I rode my bicycle across Vermont. This poem, for me, evoked the carelessness of those moments of which those days were composed.
What a wonderful poem. I regret that I am reading it for the first time after Ruth's death. A remarkable woman, she still stands as an example for women of this current generation. Surviving and flourishing after tragedy is best expressed through creativity, and Ms. Ruth was a perfect example of that process.

Beautiful.

This fills me with wonder. I will cherish it, treasure it, and share it. Thank you.
