I can see why Kevin won with this entry. The language is fresh and accurate; the tone reflective of the story's content in its vivacity, youth, and passion. "Cerromar" would make a lovely novel.

Kevin accurately portrays the psyche of the young male. He understands the internal conflicts of the young whose parents have separated. His language is spare and direct, yet still conveys the raw emotions of his protagonist.

Beautiful prose with a very compelling voice.

"Cerromar" readily conveys the angst of a teenage male. The prose lives and breathes with an intriguing voice.
