I liked your story a lot. You have dealt with quite a number of contemporary issues--at times with humor, and at times with subtlety--and this, in turn, makes it a worthy read.
I will continue to study this story and to read it again and again, pulling out layer and layer of meaning and nuance and marveling at the ways they all fit together. I thought I knew what writing was about until I found Jackie Thomas-Kennedy!

Engagingly understated. With restrained wit, we're given just enough to allow us a glimpse of the larger picture. Very well done.
