Robert Hedin is a poet of achieved sensibility. His heart has many chambers, and "contains multitudes." In this set especially, he establishes a frame for art that is so artful it is indivisible from life. The poems breathe like dark garden flowers, and each is real, necessary, and alive.

Very nice! I like the way he arranges every word, gives them a meaningful body and creates a world of familiar scenes.

Wonderful prose poems that reveal startling incidents of everyday life to a family reunion to just getting through a day hoping that the delicate scale doesn't push it down into the floor. His poem on the great liners was also poignant. Excellent works!
