This poem surprised me. It's lucid, luminous & mysterious, & it affected me the way one is touched by someone who walks by on a dark street—someone hurrying in the opposite direction, whose face remains unseen but whose energy & passion reaches out to you. I didn't know about Frank Stanford & now I want to know more. I want to read more of what he left us. Thank you for posting this.
