Excellent interview. Many years ago I read Black Tickets and treasure the battered paperback copy I have in my bookshelf. It is shocking in the best sense of being immediate, real, and at the same time in the tradition of the South, of Faulkner in its story telling. The technique dazzled and inspired me.
