A nonbeliever in so many things--religion, stability, the assurance of decency and fairness among us all, we are so frivolous and late to learn: I take comfort, I find joy in the beauty and wisdom and lack of prescription in this very fine poem. Thank you, I've never needed it more as a public or private person.

I love this poem, and I am sad that my late partner is no longer here to share it with.
