A Story

So where have I been all this woman's life, never having heard of her! Have to find her collection(s). Her voice in this story is so direct, so unpretentious, so right on for the character, that I'm sure I've known her from some trailer park I might have lived in if mine hadn't been a solo trailer on the edge of desert. What a detail: that the plumber suggests sharing her oxygen, that they stop to breathe at the same places! Wonderful! I'm still smiling.
