A Story

This riveting, poetically written narrative swiftly immersed me in the Russian Jewish world of 19th century pogroms, threats and danger. Their beautiful Jewish faith, their forced poverty and neglect by a so-called Christian Russia shocked me. I can’t wait to see how the daughter who fled Russia fares in America.

Great writing. Narrative continues to give us outstanding stories.
