Bravo! I don't typically read the Poem of the Week, but today was different. I loved "Teacher," but I wanted it to continue. The narrator tells it like it is, and it's so true. While it has been some time since I've been in a classroom as a creative writing student, I know how it feels to have one's head bitten off. What I liked about this piece was that the speaker was determined to get it back. That's where I wanted to see this go. What happens to get it back? My imagination has gone wild. I think I'll read more of these in the future. Thank you.

I love this poem. It is very visual and managed to say a lot with very few words.
I've had the pleasure of having Valzhyna Mort as my writing teacher. I think this says all it needs to say.
