The Master of Arts in English is a 33-semester-hour program that offers both a thesis and non-thesis option. The program offers a number of available concentrations: Creative Writing, English Studies, Linguistics, Literature, Rhetoric and Composition, TESOL, Multicultural and Transnational Literatures (MTL), and Technical and Professional Communication (TPC). The MTL and TPC concentrations allow the degree to be completed entirely online.
