Josh Weil won Third Place in Narrative’s Fall 2007 Fiction Contest for his story “The Last Thing You Need,” which, along with “Mirza,”is part of a collection, The Age of Perpetual Light. After receiving his MFA as a Jersey Fellow at Columbia University, Weil was awarded a Fulbright Grant and scholarship to the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference. He is currently writing a novel based on a year living in North and Central Africa.
