Ann Tashi Slater is the author of Traveling in Bardo (Hachette Go, 2025), and her work appears in The Penguin Book of Modern Tibetan Essays; Wanting: Women Writing about Desire; Women in Clothes; and American Dragons. She earned a BA from Princeton and an MFA from the University of Michigan, where she won a Hopwood Award. She speaks and teaches workshops in the United States, Asia, and Europe.
