Antonya Nelson

Antonya Nelson is the author of three novels: Talking in Bed (winner of the Heartland Prize), Nobody’s Girl, and Living to Tell, as well as six collections of short stories, including The Expendables, winner of the 1990 Flannery O’Connor Award. In addition, her stories have been widely anthologized. Nelson teaches at the University of Houston, where she holds the Cullen Chair in Creative Writing. Married to the writer Robert Boswell, she has two children and lives in New Mexico, Texas, and Colorado.
