Barbara Williams is the author of the memoir The Hope in Leaving, based on her life growing up in the logging camps of British Columbia. A veteran actress of stage and film, she received a Canadian Gemini for best actress in the telepic Mother Trucker. Born in Canada, she lives in Los Angeles.
