Bill Mutter is an artist, graphic designer, and cartoonist, born in New York and raised after World War II in a New Jersey trailer park that provided plenty of inspiration. A graduate of the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, he showed work at the Whitney Museum at Philip Morris and received a New York Foundation for the Arts Grant, as well as the Warren Tanner Memorial Grant. Mutter has taught all aspects of art, including drawing, typography, and sculpture at New York City Technical College, LaGuardia Community College, and Drew University.
