Cam Awkward-Rich, a finalist in Narrative’s Eighth Annual Poetry Contest, is the author of Sympathetic Little Monster (2016) and the chapbook Transit (2015). Born in Ann Arbor, Awkward-Rich received a BA from Wesleyan University and a PhD in modern thought and literature from Stanford University (2017).
