Carol Dines
Carol Dines, a finalist in Narrative’s 2018 Winter Story Contest, is the author of This Distance We Call Love (Orison, 2021), winner of the Eric Hoffer Book Prize, and of the young adult novel The Take-Over Friend (Fitzroy, 2022). She has also published two other novels for young adults, Best Friends Tell the Best Lies and The Queen’s Soprano, as well as a collection of short stories for young adults, Talk to Me. Dines lives in Minneapolis with her husband, Jack Zipes.
