Cass McNally is a graduate of Stanford University and holds a PhD from the creative writing program in fiction at the University of Utah. Born in Sacramento, she taught undergraduate writing and research at the University of Utah Honors College. She has also raced and shown Quarter horses and raised four children. She lives with her husband in Charleston, Utah.
