Cate Marvin is the author of four poetry collections: Event Horizon (Copper Canyon Press, 2022); Oracle, a New York Times Best Poetry Book; Fragment of a Queen (2007), a Whiting Award winner; and World’s Tallest Disaster. She teaches creative writing at the College of Staten Island, City University of New York, and lives in Maine.
