Chris Dombrowski is the author of three poetry collections, by cold water, Earth Again, and Ragged Anthem, and two books of nonfiction, most recently The River You Touch: Making a Life on Moving Water (Milkweed, 2022). A graduate of Hope College and the University of Montana, he worked for many years as a river guide before returning to the classroom to teach. He serves as director of creative writing at the University of Montana and lives with his family in Missoula.
