Claudia Zuluaga, author of the novel Fort Starlight (2013), was born in New York State and grew up in South Florida. She holds an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College and is a full-time lecturer at John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY) in New York City, where she lives with her husband and their daughter.
