A. D. Lauren-Abunassar, an Arab American writer, was a finalist in Narrative’s Thirteenth and Eleventh Annual Poetry Contests and in the 2019 Narrative 30 Below Contest. She holds an undergraduate degree from Emory University and is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. She lives in Pennsylvania.
