David Armstrong, a finalist in Narrative’s Winter 2013 Story Contest, is the author of the story collections Going Anywhere (2014) and drive/memory, winner of the Emergency Press International Book Contest. He received a PhD in fiction from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (2014). Among his awards are the Nancy D. Hargrove Editors’ Prize for Fiction and the Doug Fir Fiction Award. Armstrong lives in Spokane with his wife.
