Emily Raboteau

Emily Raboteau is the author of the novel The Professor’s Daughter and a work of creative nonfiction, Searching for Zion. Her short stories have been anthologized in Best American Short Stories, Best American Mystery Stories, and Best African American Fiction. The recipient of a Pushcart Prize and a Nelson Algren Award, Raboteau lives in Harlem and teaches creative writing at the City College of New York.
