Evan James Roskos was born and raised in New Jersey. He received his BA in English from Rowan University, an MA in literature from Rutgers-Camden, and an MFA in creative writing from Rutgers-Newark, where he studied with Jayne Anne Phillips and Alice Elliot Dark. Roskos lives in Collingswood, New Jersey, with his wife.
