Hannah Pittard is the author of several novels, including Listen to Me, a New York Times Editors’ Choice, and Visible Empire (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, 2018). A graduate of the University of Chicago and the MFA program in creative writing at the University of Virginia, she received the 2006 Amanda Davis Highwire Fiction Award. Pittard directs the MFA program in creative writing at the University of Kentucky.
