Hélène Lenoir is a French author of numerous novels, including Elle va partir (She’s Leaving) and Son nom d’avant (Her Maiden Name), and two volumes of short stories, including La brisure (The Break). Since 1980 she has lived in Germany, where she is a professor of French.
