Holiday Reinhorn, a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, is the author of Big Cats: Stories. She is also the cofounder of LIDÈ Haiti, an arts and literacy program that provides education and support to at-risk girls in rural communities. A fifth-generation Pacific Northwesterner, she was born in Portland and attended the University of Washington in Seattle. She lives in Los Angeles
