Ilana Sichel has worked as a magazine editor, journalist, writing instructor, and translator. She earned her AB at Harvard and her MFA at the University of Michigan, where she received a Henfield Prize for her short fiction. She was a finalist in the 2011 Narrative 30 Below Contest.
