James William Brown

James William Brown is the author of Blood Dance, a novel exploring life between the wars in a remote Greek village. A former Wallace Stegner Fellow in Fiction at Stanford, Brown has also been a writing fellow at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. He has directed the editorial departments of textbook publishers in New York, Boston, and Athens, Greece. Brown lives with his wife in Somerville, Massachusetts, and in the Greek village of Zarka.
