Jeanne Foster is a poet, translator, and Unitarian Universalist minister. She cotranslated The Living Theater: Selected Poems of Bianca Tarozzi, which earned the 2018 Northern California Book Critics Award for Translation in Poetry, and she coedits Appetite: Food as Metaphor, an anthology of poems by women. The author of the poetry collection Goodbye, Silver Sister, Foster is a professor emerita at Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, California, and divides her time between Berkeley and Tuscany.
