Jeannine Ouellette, a finalist in Narrative’s 2018 Winter Story Contest, is the author or coauthor of several educational books, as well as a picture book for children, Mama Moon. She holds an MFA in fiction from Vermont College of Fine Arts and is the founder of Elephant Rock, a creative writing program based in Minneapolis. She lives near the banks of the Mississippi.
