Julia Anna Morrison won Third Place Winner in Narrative’s Fourteenth Annual Poetry Contest. Her work deals with themes of single motherhood, drug addiction, and familial grief. Originally from Alpharetta, Georgia, she holds an MFA from the University of Iowa, where she is a lecturer.
