Julia McDaniel was a finalist in the 2021 Narrative 30 Below Contest. She earned an undergraduate degree at Denison University and holds an MFA from the Helen Zell Writers’ Program at the University of Michigan. Born in Ohio, she lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
