Julianna Baggott has written sixteen books, including three poetry collections; the bestseller Girl Talk; and a historical novel based on her grandmother, The Miss America Family. With Steve Almond she cowrote Which Brings Me to You: A Novel in Confessions. Her novels under the pen name Bridget Asher include My Husband’s Sweethearts and The Pretend Wife, and she has also written novels for younger readers under the pen name N. E. Bode. A founder of “Kids in Need—Books in Deed,” Baggott teaches in the Florida State University Creative Writing Program.
