Julie Diamond, a winner of Narrative’s 2017 Fall Story Contest and of the 2014 Winter Story Contest, is an educator in the New York City public schools and the author of Kindergarten: A Teacher, Her Students, and a Year of Learning. Born in New York City, she received a BA from Swarthmore College and an MS from Bank Street Graduate School of Education.
