Julie Weary, grand prize winner of the Writer’s Digest writing competition, served as president of the oldest ongoing writer’s group in the country, the Off Campus Writers’ Workshop in Winnetka, Illinois. She is a board member of the Laura Jackson Foundation, a nonprofit offering literary programs to teens and adults. She lives with her. husband in Vero Beach, Florida, and Presque Isle, Wisconsin.
