Kate Moses is the author of Cakewalk: A Memoir, and Wintering, a fictional account of Sylvia Plath’s last years, for which Moses received the Janet Heidinger Kafka Prize and a Prix des lectrices de Elle. Along with Camille Peri, she coedited two anthologies of essays on motherhood: Because I Said So: 33 Mothers Write about Children, Sex, Men, Aging, Faith, Race & Themselves and Mothers Who Think: Tales of Real-Life Parenthood. Moses lives in San Francisco with her husband and their two children.
