Kathryn Hunt is the author of the poetry collections Long Way Through Ruin and You Won’t Find It on a Map. She is also the director of the documentaries Take This Heart, honored by the Anna Quindlen Award for Excellence in Journalism, and of No Place Like Home, screened at the Venice Film Festival. Hunt lives in Port Townsend, Washington, on the coast of the Salish Sea.
