Kent Meyers is the author of The Witness of Combines, a memoir, and three books of fiction: Light in the Crossing, The River Warren, and The Work of Wolves. Light in the Crossing and The River Warren were both New York Times Notable Books, and The Work of Wolves won a Mountains and Plains Booksellers Association Award. Meyers is writer-in-residence at Black Hills State University and also teaches in Pacific Lutheran University’s Rainier Writing Program.
