Krystall Fierens-Lee grew up in Calgary, Canada. She earned a BA from the University of British Columbia and is completing an MFA at Columbia University. For many years she was an investment banker, specializing in organizational development. Fierens-Lee lives with her husband in New York, Bahrain, and Belgium.
