Lily Philpott is an indigenous transracial adoptee born in Chile and raised in New England. She has worked at PEN America, the Guggenheim Museum, and the Asian American Writers’ Workshop and is a cochair of the International Literature Committee at the Brooklyn Book Festival. She earned an MFA in fiction from the Institute of American Indian Arts and lives in Brooklyn.
