Lizabeth Yandel received an MFA in poetry from the University of California at Irvine and was awarded the 2022 UC Graduate Prize for Excellence in Poetry. In addition, her work was chosen for the 2023 Best New Poets anthology. Originally from Chicago, she lives in Oregon.
