Marc Kaufman grew up in Monticello, New York. He received a BA in literature from Binghamton University and an MFA in fiction from Sarah Lawrence College. A finalist in the Winter 2009, Fall 2010, and Spring 2018 Narrative Story Contests, he lives in Tokyo and teaches writing at Sophia University.
