Marian Thurm is the author of numerous novels and short story collections, including Today Is Not Your Day, a New York Times Editors’ Choice; The Clairvoyant, a New York Times Notable Book; and The Blackmailer’s Guide to Love (Delphinium, 2021). Her short stories have been included in The Best American Short Stories and many other anthologies. Thurm has taught at Yale University, at Barnard College, in the MFA programs at Columbia University and Brooklyn College, at the Writing Institute at Sarah Lawrence College, and at the Yale Writers’ Workshop.
