Mary-Louise Parker is an actress best known for her leading role on the Showtime series Weeds, for which she received a Golden Globe. She’s appeared in films and series as various as Fried Green Tomatoes, Bullets over Broadway, and The West Wing. For her role in Angels in America, she received both an Emmy and a Golden Globe. On Broadway, for the drama Proof, she won Tony, Drama Desk, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle awards. She is the author of the memoir Dear Mr. You (Scribner, 2015) and lives in New York City with her two children.
