Meghann Plunkett was a finalist in the 2016 Narrative 30 Below Contest and for the 2017 Hearst Poetry Prize. She earned an MFA from Southern Illinois University, where she was awarded the 2016 Academy of American Poets Prize and inclusion in the anthology Chorus. Plunkett serves as writer in residence at Omega and directs the Black Dog Tall Ship Writing Retreat on Martha’s Vineyard.
